Biography

Dr. Tianren Wang graduated from China Medical University and Peking University, China, obtaining her M.D. in 2007 and Ph.D. in 2014. She completed her postdoctoral research training at Yale School of Medicine from 2014 to 2017. She currently serves as Deputy Director and Associate Consultant at the University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Hospital, Reproductive Medicine Center, Shenzhen, China.

Her clinical and research expertise includes fertility preservation, mitochondrial function, ovarian aging, and embryo development. She has led several clinical and translational research projects supported by three grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. To date, she has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals, including Science, Nature Communications, Aging Cell, and Human Reproduction.

Dr. Wang has been recognized with several awards, including the In-Training Research Award (2016) from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the President’s Presenter Award (2017) from the Society for Reproductive Investigation. She also serves as a member of the editorial boards of the European Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Biology.

Dr. Wang is currently a Committee Member-at-Large for the Global Health Committee of ASRM, a Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Society for Fertility Preservation (ASCFP), and holds various committee roles within reproductive medicine organizations in China.
