In 2000, Mr Ho Koon Ki, Tommy, and his wife, donated a sum of $100,000 for the establishment of a prize in memory of Mr Ho’s late grandmother-in-law, Ms Yuen Poon Chee. The prize shall be awarded to the student who has obtained the best overall results in the Final M.B.,B.S. Examination in “Obstetrics and Gynaecology”. |

| 4 | Prophecy Maternal Fetal Medicine Prizes | Dr Leung Kwok Yin | $200,000 | The prizes include two categories, namely the “Prophecy Maternal Fetal Medicine Prize for Undergraduate Students” and the “Prophecy Maternal Fetal Medicine Prize for Postgraduate Students”. Specifically, the Prophecy Maternal Fetal Medicine Prize for Undergraduate Students consists of two annual awards of HK$5,000 each, which are presented to Final Year MBBS students who attain the highest scores in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty subject of the Final MBBS Written Examination. As for the Prophecy Maternal Fetal Medicine Prize for Postgraduate Students, one annual award of HK$10,000 is granted to the top graduating MPhil or PhD student from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with the selection being based on the quality of the candidate’s submitted thesis and research output. |
