Teaching & Learning
The objective of the undergraduate teaching of our Department is to train students to be competent in the understanding and delivery of effective, humane and ethical health care for women, committed to lifelong learning, and ready to proceed to postgraduate training.
We adopt an outcome-based approach to student leaning. Our curriculum and teaching activities are designed to support students in achieving the particular outcomes.
The Department is actively engaged in research in the areas of gynaecological oncology, reproductive medicine, perinatology and prenatal diagnosis. We offer research postgraduate studies in these areas leading to the degrees of Maser of Philosophy (MPhil), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and Master of Medical Sciences (MMedSc).
